INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY AND HEALTH!
Always use this product under adult supervision. There have been accidents due to babies falling or the product breaking when left alone with their feeding utensils. Never use the feeding bottle as a pacifier. Continuous and prolonged sucking of liquids causes tooth decay. Dental decay in young children can occur even when using unsweetened liquids. This can occur when the baby is allowed to use the bottle for long periods during the day and especially at night when the saliva flow is reduced, or when the bottle is used as a pacifier.
Be sure to check the temperature of the food before feeding. Microwave heating can cause localized high temperatures. Take extra care when using microwave heating. Be sure to stir the heated food to ensure even heat distribution and be sure to check the temperature before serving.
ASSEMBLY OF YOUR BOTTLE AND RING HINGE
a) Due to the large size of Tommee Tippee’s new bottle and ring hinge, care must be taken during assembly to ensure that the bottle is in the correct position as shown (diaphragm a.).
b) The best method of assembling the bottle and ring hinge is to carefully pull the bottle through the ring in different directions to ensure that the silicone lip is completely over the edge of the ring hinge. The area where the bottle and ring hinge meet should be flush as shown (diaphragm b).
You may find this difficult at first, but you will develop a technique and find it as easy as a traditional bottle and ring hinge.
CLEANING
Clean the product before first use. Clean before each use. Wash the product immediately after use. Wash in warm soapy water and rinse with clean water or use a dishwasher (top shelf only). Do not clean with solvents or harsh chemicals. Avoid contact with oil-based foods (e.g. oil/tomato-based sauces) as discolouration will occur. Do not turn the bottle inwards when cleaning. This may damage it. Use a bottle brush.
STORAGE AND USE
Check before each use and pull the feeding bottle in all directions.
Discard immediately if damaged or broken. Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Do not store or allow to come into contact with solvents or harsh chemicals. Not suitable for use in a conventional oven or a microwave oven with a grill function. Keep all components out of reach of children when not in use. Do not leave the feeding bottle in direct sunlight or near a heat source or in disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than recommended as this may weaken the bottle. For hygiene and safety reasons, it is recommended to change the feeding bottle at least every 2 months.
Do not heat in a closed bottle in the microwave. Remove the bottle, locking ring and dome cap.
TAKE EXTRA CARE when cleaning the delicate anti-colic bottle cap. For optimum ventilation, the bottle cap is made of a thinner silicone than the bottle itself, so extra care should be taken to avoid damage when cleaning. DO NOT USE A BOTTLE BRUSH OR ANY OTHER TOOL when cleaning the anti-colic cap and/or the feeding basin, as damage such as separation and tearing may occur. On the other hand, if the anti-colic cap is not thoroughly cleaned after each use, the performance of the bottle may be affected. Make sure to clean the cap with hot water during cleaning.
